Bio

Jim Baehr is the Lead for the Sourcing Strategies Group LLC (SSG,) providing client support for a wide range of Supply Management initiatives. Prior to forming SSG, he was an independent advisor. His corporate roles were as Vice President of Global Information Technology Procurement for Reed Elsevier and Director of Technical & Services Procurement for Bayer Corporation. Jim has extensive experience in Management positions and a distinguished career in Sales. He is the Past President of the ISM – Pittsburgh Affiliate (2016-2017). Jim is a blogger and has written several feature articles and white papers. He was also a contributing author to the book Next Level Supply Management Excellence: Your Straight to the Bottom Line® Roadmap.
